No matter what holidays you celebrate, that means plenty more good times to be had before we ring in 2022. It also means it’s time to check in with your 2021 goals! From giving to volunteering to kicking a habit you hoped to leave behind, check out these tips to check in with yourself and finish out 2021 strong! 

Remember to take care of yourself this holiday season and give back when you can. The spirit of the holiday is all about spending time with the ones you love and giving back where you can! Help spread holiday cheer this year for yourself and others by following these ten steps!

The Living Stones campaign will raise $40,000 to renovate the house and purchase the appropriate furniture, appliances, and office setups to promote their work. Please consider a contribution to help make the Disciples the living stones upon which the future church in Huehuetenango will be built.

Schedule: Friday, July 30 at 6:30 PM to Sunday, August 1 at 12:00 PM.

Cost: $175 covers two nights in the retreat center, three meals on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. And Marimba dancing!! Financial assistance available.

We ask that all attendees be fully vaccinated by July 16 in order to attend.

Pray the Stations of the Cross for the protection of migrants, especially those with TPS or DACA status.

The Disciples of the Good Shepherd welcomed four new women into their formation program. Each of these women need a sponsor for their journey into religious life and in their career as servants of God in the Diocese of Huehuetenango. Please read about them and consider a sponsorship. Ixim: Spirit of Solidarity is happy to announce our presence in SHARE Omaha, an organization built to help Omaha nonprofits reach out to donors and volunteers.

Ixim: Spirit of Solidarity was present at Juan Diego Center in South Omaha to help stock over 5,000 lbs. of food received through the generosity of donors across the Archdiocese of Omaha.

Ixim finished its second round of mask-making by delivering 700 masks to Catholic Charities' Juan Diego Center in South Omaha.

Ixim makes and distributes over 2,800 masks across Omaha.
