This June will mark the completion of our first year of Ixim's telehealth program in San Sebastián Coatán.
We've seen over 200 patients so far. Our focus on providing ongoing care for chronic illnesses has been particularly fruitful as patients requiring constant care have been able to return to the clinic on a regular basis.
During our spring fundraising drive, we want to raise money to fund a second year of the clinic. Costs include stipends for our clinic staff in Guatemala, medicines for patients, and clinic supplies and equipment. Our goal for this spring is to raise $2,500, which will cover another six months of staffing, medicine, and supply costs.
